Evolutions Arrow. by John Stewart. A book discussing cooperation as an evolutionarily successful strategy. At the end of this book, it talks about governance as a vertical market, where people offer various proposals for governance tasks and the marketplace matches suppliers to customers in an efficient and ever improving way: Alcohol Can Be A Gas. by The International Institute for Ecological Agriculture. This is a book about Alcohol as a fuel due out soon(?). The link goes to the table of contents. There is also a link to excerpts from their 1983 edition of the same book.
